The question every buyer should ask first — so here it is, upfront. Texas defines e-bikes and scooters clearly, but cities and land managers can add restrictions. We will never present an off-road machine as street legal.

Texas requires no license, registration, or insurance for Class 1–3 e-bikes. No statewide helmet law either — we recommend one anyway, and we stock them.
Scooters that meet Texas's motor-assisted scooterdefinition may use roads posted 35 mph or under, bicycle paths, and sidewalks, subject to local and TxDOT restrictions. That definition excludes pocket bikes and minimotorbikes. Check your exact vehicle and route before assuming these rules apply.
The e-motos in our lineup are sold for off-road use. Plan around private land with permission or riding areas that allow your vehicle. Street, sidewalk, and bicycle-path access does not follow from looking like a bicycle or a scooter.
